Energy & Transport + Haringey's Annual Seed Swap

Sustainable Transport (1-5pm)
- Magnificent Revolution will be bringing their pop-up pedal-powered cinema (programme of short films to be announced)
- Chris Barker of Living Streets will be conducting a street audit of Tottenham High Road (2pm)
- There will be free cycle training taster sessions (weather permitting)
- Dr Bike will check your bike over and carry out any minor repairs
- We will be giving away free puncture repair kits, bike bells, cycle water bottles, and local cycle maps
- Streetcar will be on hand to explain how car clubs work in Haringey
Sustainable Energy (1-5pm)
- Transition Belsize and Muswell Hill Sustainability Group will be giving a presentation on how to run a DIY "draught-busting" project
- En10ergy will be telling us about their bulk buying project and how to run a community renewable-energy project
- Thomas Donkor will be explaining solar photovoltaics and how to benefit from the feed-in tariff
- We hope to have a free solar photovoltaics installer explaining how you can benefit from free solar energy if you can't front up the loan yourself but have a south facing roof

Seed Swap (2-4pm)
- Bring seeds to swap – veg, herbs, fruit, flowers. Advice for new gardeners. Seed Swap Days aim to encourage seed-saving and growing from seed, especially of traditional and local varieties.
- Swap gardening ideas and stories too!
Other
- A council officer will give an update and discussion on carbon reduction plans to help avoid dangerous climate change (4-5pm)
- Back2Earth Community Cafe will be providing hot food (from 1pm)
- And there will be fair trade tea and coffee, information stall and Transition Books at cost prices
